For Yoto Make Your Own cards

Make Yoto cards in a minute. Free.

Drop in a folder of songs or stories. OpenMYO tidies the titles, puts the tracks in order, picks a little pixel picture for each one and makes a cover. Then it sends the card to your Yoto.

Works on computers, tablets and phones. No account needed to try it.

The boring bit, done for you

Messy file names in. A proper card out.

This is the real clean-up OpenMYO uses: numbers, underscores and “(Official Audio)” go; the order and the words stay.

    Tonight’s card could be…

    What you can make

    • Bedtime songs

Drop a folder of lullabies. Each song gets a picture that fits.

    • Tooth-brushing timer

Two minutes of soft ticks. The pizza disappears slice by slice.

    • Grandma’s stories

Record a message right in the app and put it on a card.

    • Road-trip podcasts

Pick episodes from any kids’ podcast and take them offline.

    • Big audiobooks

Too long for one track? OpenMYO splits it neatly into parts.

Plus printable covers, your own pixel drawings, and every player’s battery at a glance.

    Three steps

    1. 1

      Drop your audio

      A folder, a ZIP, some MP3s, a podcast or a recording.

    2. 2

      Check one screen

A friendly checklist spots anything Yoto won’t like and fixes it in one tap.

    3. 3

      Press Sync

The playlist appears in your Yoto app. Link it to a blank card and play.

    For grown-ups

The small print, in big print

    Free, with no limits

No playlist caps, no trial, no subscription.

    Your files stay yours

Audio goes from your device straight to Yoto. Drafts stay on your device until you sync.

    Safe with your Yoto account

You sign in on Yoto’s own page. We never see your password, and every change can be undone.

    Independent

OpenMYO is not made by Yoto. It uses Yoto’s official developer tools.

    Questions

Do I need a Yoto account?

To send cards to your player, yes. To try OpenMYO, no: “Try it with pretend cards” works with a pretend library that never leaves your device.

    Does it cost anything?

No. OpenMYO is free. Some copies offer an optional AI tidy-up; it only sees track titles and file names, never your audio.

    Which files work?

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC and ZIPs of them, plus podcasts, recordings and streaming radio links.

    What are Yoto’s limits?

Up to 100 tracks per card, each up to 60 minutes and 100 MB, about 500 MB per card. OpenMYO checks these for you and splits long tracks.

    Is it made by Yoto?

No. OpenMYO is an independent project that uses Yoto’s official developer API. Yoto is a trademark of its owner.
